Tourist tax
The tourist tax is not included in the rates above.
It is calculated according to the length of your stay and the number of guests, in accordance with the applicable local rates.

Booking conditions
Cancellation
If you cancel your booking, the 30% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable.
If the remaining balance has not been paid at least two weeks before your arrival, the booking will automatically be cancelled.

Frequently questions
Are pets allowed ?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Le Chant des Embruns. We want to make sure that the house remains comfortable and welcoming for all our guests, including those who may have allergies or sensitivities to animals. Thank you for your understanding.
What time can we arrive and leave ?
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is before 10:30 am.
We will welcome you in person, hand over the keys and make sure you have everything you need to settle in comfortably. We'll also be happy to share some of our favourite places, walks and local addresses to help you make the most of your stay in La Bernerie-en-Retz.
Are bed linen and towels provided ?
Yes, everything is provided for your stay. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and kitchen towels are included in the rental, so you don't need to pack them.
We want you to be able to arrive, put down your bags and start enjoying your holiday straight away — whether you're heading to the beach or simply settling into the house.
Are bicycles included with the rental ?
Yes! Bicycles are available free of charge during your stay. The house has two adult bikes, one teenage bike and one children's bike.
A baby seat is also available on request. With the beach, shops, market and coastal paths all close by, cycling is an easy and enjoyable way to explore La Bernerie-en-Retz and the Côte de Jade.
Is there a parking space at the house ?
There is no private parking space at Le Chant des Embruns, but free public parking is available nearby.
The house is also ideally located if you prefer to leave the car behind: the beach, shops, restaurants, market and many of the village's activities are all within walking distance.
Is the house suitable for children ?
Absolutely. Le Chant des Embruns is well suited to families with children.
The outdoor area is completely enclosed by walls and low walls, so children can enjoy being outside while you relax. The second bedroom has bunk beds and opens directly onto the terrace.
We also provide a travel cot, high chair and baby bath, as well as a toilet training seat on request. For older children, you'll find beach games, board games and a children's scooter at the house.
Everything has been thought out to make family holidays a little easier — and to save you from having to bring half the house with you!
