Le Chant des Embruns is a former fisherman's cottage in the heart of La Bernerie-en-Retz, on the Côte de Jade. Fully renovated in 2026, it combines the charm of a traditional coastal home with all the comfort you need for a relaxing stay.
With two bedrooms, it can accommodate up to five guests. You'll find a bright living space, a sunny terrace and a fully enclosed outdoor area. And best of all… the beach is just 85 metres away.
Here, you can leave the car behind. Walk to the bakery, stroll down to the sea and enjoy the gentle pace of village life.
Anne and Guillaume will welcome you with a smile, just a few steps from their favourite village, and share their local tips so you can experience La Bernerie-en-Retz like a local.
A place that simply feels like home
Le Chant des Embruns was born from a love for La Bernerie-en-Retz and a desire to share this beautiful stretch of coast that means so much to us.
When we discovered this former fisherman's cottage, we wanted to give it a new lease of life. We redesigned the spaces to make them brighter and more functional, while preserving the character and soul of the house. We even carried out part of the renovation work ourselves, a project we poured our hearts into, with one simple goal: to make you feel at home.
We imagined Le Chant des Embruns as a place where you can put down your bags, switch off from everyday life and simply enjoy the sea, the village and time together.
When you arrive, we'll be there to welcome you, hand you the keys and share some of our favourite local spots: a quieter beach, a sunset walk, a restaurant we love or the Friday morning market.
Because the best holidays often begin with a warm welcome.

The house is truly warm, comfortable and very well equipped. You quickly feel at home, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. We particularly loved making the most of the terrace and the proximity to the beach, which is a real highlight.
We also really appreciated the baby equipment provided. It was very practical and made things so much easier when travelling as a family.
We had a wonderful holiday and will keep great memories of our stay. We would happily come back and wouldn't hesitate for a moment! 😊

Wonderful stay at Le Chant des Embruns. A charming, cosy and beautifully renovated former fisherman's cottage, ideally located. Just a few steps from a beautiful beach and a 5-minute walk from the shops in the town centre. The house is spotlessly clean and fully equipped, newly renovated with great attention to detail to make everyday life easier and help guests discover the region. Wonderful hosts who take great care of their guests. We highly recommend it without hesitation.
